I also received such a lovely haiku poem from Arsh today, which brightened up my morning thinking about the beach!
Well done on such a great lesson with modal verbs today!
Starting off with our open-ended questions, lots of you managed to work out how the modal verb changed the sentence. Here were some of my favourite responses so far, because they were very well explained:
I was also very impressed with the draw it activity. Some of these were tricky, so well done to all of your that got these correct. I have included a few examples from Amina, Ayaan Ejaz, Hammad, Isha, Moeez and Roselyn too:
Finally, it was lovely to see you discussing your work on the collaborative board, as well as mention Captain Tom Moore. I really enjoyed your responses:
We definitely need to do a little more work on whether modal verbs show certainty or possibility, but we will look at that when we are all back in school together.
I have also received Nathan's beautiful wallpaper design today:
It is such a delicate design. Well done Nathan!
On top of this, here is Chloe Higson's beautiful design too:
I love the bright colour choice - I have a feeling the lovely yellow flowers in the background may have inspired that choice!
And Khadija has also sent a beautiful leaf inspired design! I would love this on a wall in my house:
Well done on another fantastic day!
Take care and have a lovely evening.
