English, Science, Collective Worship and PE - Wednesday 13th January

Good morning year 5, 5/6 and 6,

Well done again for all your hard work yesterday!

Here are your lesson codes today for English, Science and Collective Worship.

In English today, you have a writing activity to do all about Victorian chimney sweeps. Watch the videos carefully and read all the information (you might find it helpful to take notes). You can type your character description on Nearpod so I can read it, or you can write it in your beautiful handwriting and send me a picture of your work to year6@stjohnmark.co.uk.

Science is all about the vital organs in our body and has a lot of fun activities to complete on Nearpod. Collective worship is looking at something called 'bouncebackability' and you get to design an exciting guide all about this once you have gone through the lesson.

English code - MA3TC

Maths - YGTS2

Science - 4VD2U

Collective Worship - 73PZJ

Have fun with your lessons today! Remember the other blog post with your maths code on for today too. Take your time with all the activities and challenges. Please make sure you have plenty of breaks and snacks throughout to keep your brain working.

Additionally - to help you stay active at home - here is a PE workout video with our very own Mr Jarrett!

I am excited to see your work and let me know if I can help you with anything today.

Stay safe,

Miss Duffy 🌸

    1. Iman you can definitely write a diary as a chimney sweep in Victorian times. That is a lovely idea.

You can then email it to me at year6@stjohnmark.co.uk
