Another fabulous day children!
I received this wonderful piece of work this morning, which made my morning. Thank you Chloe for remembering such an inspirational person in such a beautiful way.
In English, I absolutely loved your haiku poems. Here are a selection of some of the poems I received today all about Queen Victoria. I had to pick these ones because they carefully followed the 5-7-5 rule of a haiku poems...
I also really enjoyed these responses to the true or false from Shahd, Suleman and Zunairah.
Arsh - a factory or a workhouse
Grace - a chimney sweep or a child at work
Nathan - a workhouse
Amina - a workhouse
Maisey Mills - a workhouse or a strict Victorian school
Chloe - a chimney sweep
Zahara - a child selling items on the street
Aimee - a workhouse
Isha - a workhouse
Aqib - a chimney sweep
Muhammad Junaid - a workhouse
If I haven't mentioned yours, it is because I am still thinking about it! Well done everyone and please let me know if I guessed right!
In science, you have done a fabulous job!
In the first fill in the blanks, so many of you got 6/6! Amazing work and well done to Aaliyah, Aimee, Aidan, Aqib, Arsh, Chloe, Faizan, Fatima Hamid and Fatima Tariq, Grace, Kasey, Khadija, Nathan, Noore, Reda, Roselyn, Yusuf and Zahara!
There were also some children who got 8/8 in the second fill in the blanks: Aaliyah, Abeeha, Aimee, Arsh, Fatima Hamid and Fatima Tariq, Grace, Khadija, Maisey Mills, Muhammad Junaid, Nathan, Noore, Reda, Shahd and Zahara.
Great contributions on the collaborative board too:
I also thought these were very well thought out answers to the odd one out at the end of the lesson:
A huge well done to everyone so far!
Have a nice evening,
